Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

The short version: PAGEBLOC only sets essential cookies— the ones that keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between page loads and visits — like whether you're signed in. Similar technologies (such as localStorage) work the same way and are covered by this policy.

The cookies we use

We keep it to the minimum needed to run the Service. Here's the full list:

CookiePurposeTypeRetention
sb-access-token / sb-refresh-tokenKeeps you securely signed in to your PAGEBLOC dashboard.EssentialSession / up to 1 year
pb_consentRemembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again.Essential6 months
pb_unlock_*Unlocks a password-protected published site you've entered the password for.Essential30 days

What we don't do

  • No third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No cross-site tracking or data brokering.
  • No selling of your personal information.

If we ever add optional analytics, we'll ask for your consent first through the banner and update this page — your "Essential only" choice will always be respected.

Cookies on the sites you publish

Sites you build and publish with PAGEBLOC only set the essential pb_unlock_*cookie when you enable password protection. If you add your own third-party embeds (e.g. a video or map), those providers may set their own cookies — you're responsible for disclosing that to your visitors.

Managing cookies

You can change your choice any time using the cookie banner, or clear cookies in your browser settings. Because the cookies we use are essential, blocking them may sign you out or prevent password-protected pages from unlocking. Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies — aboutcookies.org has step-by-step guides.
